The more he gets the more he will know how much we love him and miss him already!

Turkey Recipe
When I found this recipe, I thought it was perfect for people who just are not sure how to tell when poultry is thoroughly cooked, but not dried out.
Give this a try.
8 - 15 lb. turkey
1 cup melted butter
1 cup stuffing (Pepperidge Farm is Good.)
1 cup uncooked popcorn (ORVILLE REDENBACHER'S LOW FAT)
Salt/pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brush turkey well with melted butter, salt and pepper. Fill cavity with stuffing and popcorn. Place in baking pan with the neck end toward the back of the oven. Listen for the popping sounds. When the turkey's ass blows the oven door open and the bird flies across the room, it's done.
And you thought I didn't cook...

JUST A REGULAR RETIREMENT DAY
Tuesday, November 11, 2008
Welcome
Vi and Verna have come up with a great idea! We all used to be able to keep up with one another by seeing each other at Grandma's once or twice a year. Since Grandma's passing, there are no big family gatherings and we might just hear that someone is pregnant or getting married if it makes its way through the grapevine. This will be a place for everyone to post pictures or blog about things going on in their lives - someone hitting a home run, getting married, a birthday, redoing their house, sleeping through the night, whatever it may be, so that at least remotely we can keep up with each other. Post as often or as little as you like, but we'd like to see everyone join the fun!
The Family Chatter section is the easiest way to pop a little note. Where it says "anonymous" just type in your name, then on the next line type what you'd like. There's no deleting it once it's posted, so be careful! :)
To post to the blog you just need to e-mail me with your e-mail account and I will "invite" you. Once you are a team member, you just sign into the blog and go to "Post". To add pictures you will see a little strip of film in the nav bar. You click on that and can upload your picture. If you have Picasa (which is free off the web) you can just click on "Blog It" and it will allow you to upload four pictures and add your commentary.
** Update ** I need you to e-mail me at kaylagute@yahoo.com with your e-mail address so I can "invite" you to the blog to be able to post. We will have "team members" so that not every Joe Schmoo can post to the blog. Sorry about the confusion. You DO NOT need a gmail account now.
I'd like to get a list of everyone's birthdays and e-mails, if you have one. One the sidebar I'll create a calendar with everyone's birthdays and a link to their e-mail. If you think of anything else you'd like to see on the blog, let me know and I can add it, or feel free to add it yourself.
Let's keep Grandma's spirit of family alive!! Welcome to Heuton Happenings!!!
